The whole day fits in one quiet app.

Food, water, focus, training, stillness and the notes in between — logged in seconds, kept on your phone, and pulled into one screen that tells you how the day actually went.

One day, logged

Seven things worth keeping an eye on, and the app that keeps them in one place. An example day — nothing here left the phone it was logged on.

Today

Five things, closed by bedtime.

One screen holds the day: what you ate, what you drank, what you moved, what you sat with, and what you wrote down. Everything else is one tap away and nothing needs organising first.

  • A ring for the whole day. Progress across every area at once, rather than five apps each certain they are the important one.

  • Experience that accrues. Focus time earns XP and levels, so the reward for a good week is visible rather than remembered.

  • Quick actions that finish. A glass of water is one tap and no screen change.

Nutrition

Point the camera. That is the whole log.

Scanning a barcode pulls the product's nutrition facts straight in, so a meal is logged before you have put the packet down. Search by name when there is no barcode to point at.

  • Calories and macros tracked together, with the day's split always visible.

  • Water alongside food, because the two are the same habit at different times of day.

  • Five scans a day free, unlimited on Pro. A scanned barcode is the one thing sent out — to a food database, never with your logs attached.

Focus

Time that counts itself.

Start the timer, pick what you are working on, and let the session bank itself. Reading, languages, coding and general are there from the start; Pro adds your own.

Every minute is worth 1.5 XP, and each level costs a little more than the last. Drag the dial to see what a month of real work is worth.

Mind

Stillness, kept honestly.

Log a sit and get back the only thing that helps: whether you are actually doing it. Total time, consistency, and how the practice sits against the rest of the day — no streak guilt, no push notifications at 9pm.

  • Sessions and totals across weeks, so a habit is visible before it feels like one.

  • Reflections saved beside the sit that produced them.

Breathe

Body

What you moved, and what it changed.

Training sits next to nutrition instead of in its own app, because the two only mean anything together.

Workouts that cost something

Eighteen activity types with real MET values, scaled by how hard it felt. The estimate lands next to what you ate, where it means something.

Measurements over months

Weight, body measurements and BMI tracked as a line rather than a number you half-remember. Part of Pro.

Notes, wherever the thought lands

Capture a reflection, a plan or a grocery list without leaving for another app and losing the thread.

Baseline

Your numbers, worked out here.

The same energy maths the app runs, compiled to WebAssembly and executed in this tab. Change a field and watch it recalculate — then check your network tab. Nothing is sent, because there is nowhere for it to go.

Resting and maintenance energy use Mifflin-St Jeor and the activity factors the app itself uses. Protein, fat and hydration targets are common starting points, not medical advice — talk to a professional before making big changes.

Privacy

Everything that leaves your phone, listed.

Most apps say "we value your privacy" and link to nine pages. Here is the whole thing: what is sent, when, and to whom. Your logs are not on that list.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no email address and no password. Open the app and start logging.

Where is my data kept?

On your phone, in the app’s own storage. Your food, water, workouts, focus sessions, meditation, notes and measurements are written locally and are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them with it, so export anything you want to keep first.

So what does leave my phone?

Only what you ask for. A barcode you scan is sent to Open Food Facts to look up its nutrition facts. A food name you type is sent to USDA FoodData Central to search it. Separately, subscription receipts are checked with Adapty. Nothing else is transmitted, and none of it carries your logs.

Does it work offline?

Everything except the lookups above. Logging, the focus timer, meditation, workouts, notes and the whole dashboard work with no connection at all. Food you have already saved can be logged offline too.

Is Minimalar free?

Yes. Daily logging, the focus timer, meditation, workouts, notes and the Today dashboard are free forever, along with three days of history and five barcode scans a day. Pro is optional.

What does Pro add?

Unlimited history and trends, heatmaps and pattern insights, PDF reports, unlimited barcode scanning, body measurements with BMI over time, and custom focus categories.

How do I cancel?

Through the App Store or Google Play subscription settings on your device, the same as any other subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the period you already paid for ends.

Can I get my data out?

Yes, free, at any time: the app exports a plain-text file of everything you have logged. Pro adds formatted PDF reports on top of that.
